The tiger was brought to his knees by the ‘Recession. This original design by Lisa Van Eyck features two ‘Belle Birds’. The design was inspired by the illustrations that often appear in early Christian gospel manuscripts scuh as the 9th Century Book of Kells. We like to pronounce these as the ‘Belly Birds’, The smaller bird is similar to the bird on the old Irish penny, it likes to accompany the big bird!
